Pursuant to Republic Act No. 9208 (Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003), as amended by Republic Act No. 10364 (Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012) and Republic Act No. 11862 (Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2022), and its Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations; Republic Act No. 8042, (Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act of 1995), as amended by Republic Act No. 10022; Republic Act No. 11641 (Department of Migrant Workers Act); Republic Act No. 8239 (Philippine Passport Act of 1996); and other related laws and guidelines, the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT), hereby presents the 2023 Revised Guidelines on Departure Formalities for International-Bound Filipino Passengers for the comments of interested parties, other stakeholders, and the general public.

The deadline will be on 29 May 2023 (5:00 p.m.)
The IACAT is also inviting all stakeholders and the general public to a face-to-face public consultation on the Draft Revised Guidelines on Departure Formalities on 29 May 2023 (12:00-4:00 p.m.)
In view, however, of the limited capacity of the venue, only the first thirty (30) registrants shall be accommodated. Successful registrants shall receive confirmation emails which shall be presented at the reception area on the day of the public consultation. Only participants with confirmation emails shall be allowed admission to the consultation venue.
